The Story
Deep in the Forest of Lellichor you’ll find a library. It’s filled with stories that would make the best in our world seem dim by comparison. And you wouldn’t believe the picture books there! They dance with life. The characters leap right off the pages and keep readers company while they read, but never to the point of distraction. All children are welcome and any grown-up who wants to enter will find themselves a child again with all their fresh-eyed wonder restored. And children will find themselves wiser than the wisest adults. Any animal who wanders near will begin to think poetically and soon will begin speaking in verse. In my opinion the rabbits’ poetry is always most fun to listen to because they hop suddenly and change directions in mid air at the most beautiful parts of their poems. It’s difficult to find the same book twice in the Library of Lellichor but that’s no matter. Every book found is better than the one before. And with each visit you’ll find the library curiously changed, the rooms all rearranged. Sometimes there’s a turret and sometimes there isn’t. Sometimes from the outside it’s a small place and sometimes it’s grand. There’s always plenty of room inside however and it’s easy to get lost. To be lost in the Library of Lellichor is to be found in the most wondrous of ways!

My Artwork
All of my art originates from the stories I write. I see my “story paintings” as windows that provide just enough to start the observer down the path, but leave a little mystery to ignite their imagination. I believe that artwork that reflects goodness and truth can bring light into people’s lives, encouraging them and giving them hope.
Shipping Information
Original paintings are carefully prepared for shipping. My shipping process includes: 1) Covering the art surface with glassine paper, 2) Covering front and back of art with a layer of cardboard, 3) Wrapping a thick layer of bubble wrap, and then 4) Inserting the wrapped art into a heavy-weight cardboard box. Large originals will ship via UPS Ground. If you would like to purchase my work and are OUTSIDE THE U.S.—please contact me directly and I can provide a shipping estimate and then an invoice.
