The Story

Sometimes, when I go for a walk and pray, it seems that all the colors around me intensify and I feel more awake and alive than usual. I wonder if there is just a little bit of Heaven in those moments? Maybe for a brief time the veil between earth and the beautiful beyond is thinner than usual. This painting is of just such a time. The light pours down between the trees and the forest is transformed into a holy place, far more so than any cathedral built by human hands.
