When I’m anxious, it’s often because I’ve forgotten to put my hope in God—in His steady love. Everything else is like a shifting shadow in comparison. Lately, when I find myself worried or distressed, I’ve gotten in the habit of asking myself this question: Where is your hope? That simple phrase redirects my heart to the One source of hope that never fails.
